I'm not sure if someone has already asked this question. But hopefully some of you guys and girls can help me out.
2010 will be my final year as a mechanical engineering student and my final year thesis will require me to use Openfoam. My supervisor has suggested I browse through two CFD books which are called: CFD basics with applications by John D Anderson and An Introduction to CFD - The Finite Volume Method by Versteeg and Malalasekera. I'm sure many of you have heard of these books but the contents of the book seems so overwhelming that I don't know whether I should browse through it or read the entire book. I have to admit that my weak point is programming so I'm somewhat cautious about using Openfoam. I would appreciate if some of you could provide some tips and briefly guide me. Thanks smillion |
