Hi everybody,
I would like to simulate a Conjugate Heat Transfer problem where the fluid properties (density and viscosity) are independent of temperature. It is a forced convection case. Suppose I already get the pressure and velocity fields through a steady state simulation in the fluid region. The question is: can I run a CHT simulation (with time varying T boundary conditions) where p and U are initialized by the steady state solution and only energy equations are solved (in the fluid and solid regions with heat transfer). I can do so by setting the target residue of the pressure and velocity equations to 1. Is this correct ? This proceedure could save a lot of CPU time Thank u for your help. M3hdi |
