Luise New Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Posts: 12 Rep Power: 16	Hi, in SpalartAllmarasDDES the denominator of rd uses the magnitude of vorticity, like the RAS-model. In the original paper Spalart uses the magnitude of the gradient of U, "in order to be slightly more robust in irrotational regions". Regards, Luise
