OpenFOAM 15 on AIX system does not support this version -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

August 11, 2008, 04:58	I'm trying to install OpenFOAM	#1
besto New Member Bernd Stöver Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 16 Rep Power: 17	I'm trying to install OpenFOAM 1.5 on a AIX machine uname -a AIX xxxx1-en0 2 5 but i'm getting this message: Your "AIX" operating system is not supported by this release of OpenFOAM. For further assistance, please contact www.openfoam.org now what? Is it specific for this version? Does it need specific changes to be made? Should i use an older version of OpenFOAM? Anybody has any experience with this? In the bashrc file it looks like there are not so many systems supported yet...
