Hello

I get the error "buffer.cc:117:assertion failed" when executing blockmesh. The blockmeshdict is quite large (75 MB) and should generate quite a large mesh (about 500.000 elements). Is is possible to generate that large meshes with blockmesh? What do I have to alter to mesh such large meshes with blockmesh?

thank you
Bernhard

How did you generate such a large blockMeshDict file? Never seen that error before. Are your input lines extremely long?

There is no problem generating 500.000 cells as long as you have the memory.
