kontra is on a distinguished road
I am trying to generate a 2D mesh (triangles) of a rather simple geometry with Netgen but the final mesh is problematic.

The geometry comprises a cube with a cylindrical cut from one side-face to the opposite. (I am attaching the iges input file for anyone who wants to take a look).
Netgen takes too long to generate the mesh only to result to an unreasonably extreme fine mesh.

I tried also to mesh the combination of the two shapes (cube+cylinder) without creating the cut, but then Netgen generates double time the mesh of the two common surfaces.
Any suggestions?
