Hi
I've tried to compile an overview of the Open source meshing tools that I know about and use regularly. http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/OS_Meshing The list is far from complete and if anyone have some additions to add just write them here and I will make sure they get on there. Remember its only for OS programs so Gambit, ICEM etc. are not welcome :-)

Hi :-)!
A Good day to you! Cool... I just looked through the page you have put up on open-source Meshing tools for OpenFOAM, and I must say.... thank you for putting in the time and effort to compile something like that!! The idea with the mind-map for mapping out the different geometry and conversion capabilities is a very nice idea! If I remember right, even the meshing pre-processor in "Calculix" can export directly into OpenFOAM format. I have never really used the tool (ok... I tried it about 4 to 5 years ago, but I cannot recall any specifics now), but it seems to be very active (latest release - 4 October 2012), and probably worth looking into. Their website is: www.calculix.de Have a nice day ahead! Philippose |

Very nice Niels! Any chance you can clean up the mind map a bit to make it less messy? E.g. using slightly different colors for overlapping arrows?

I've tried different approaches to clean it up but no matter what I do it ends up as spaghetti :-)
If you have any ideas/examples of mind-maps that are less cluttered let me know. I will add Calculix once I get time to do it.

Hello! Perhaps you could add SwiftBlock as well.
