[snappyHexMesh] searchablePlane in snappyHexMesh

Hi everybody
I'm doing an example of flow over a spillway in OF 2.3.0
and preparing mesh with snappyHexMesh
in dfining "geometery" by guidence of a book I itroduced a part in order to refine mesh in the next steps. this part has been introduced as a plane and defined by type of "searchablePlane" in that book.
but an error comes up with it as seen below:

--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR:
keyword planeType is undefined in dictionary "/home/zandi/OpenFOAM/zandi-2.3.0/run/airent22-3-93/system/snappyHexMeshDict.geometry.onSlope"

file: /home/zandi/OpenFOAM/zandi-2.3.0/run/airent22-3-93/system/snappyHexMeshDict.geometry.onSlope from line 38 to line 44.
From function dictionary::lookupEntry(const word&, bool, bool) const
in file db/dictionary/dictionary.C at line 437.
FOAM exiting

I have searched cfd-online and openFoam wiki and help manual inorder to find about such geometry, but there were no such keywords (searchablePlane).
could you please help me with that?

Hi zandi,

Can you tell how did you solve this? I met the same problem when Im trying to sample the field of a plane using sampledict. The error shows

keyword planeType is undefined in dictionary "/home/minecraftgp/openFoam_case/6.3closedFillingBox/6.3.1singlePlumeTracerPosition/bbpf_sp_tracer1_t3720/system/sampleDict.surfaces"
