mergeMeshes orthogonality

Hi people..
I am trying to merge two meshes with the faces where they are about to be merged to keep their boundaries. So mergeMeshes is what I need. What happens is that each one of the meshes has high quality and when I merge them, a lot of non-orthogonal faces appear. To make this issue even more disturbing, the non-orthogonal faces are not where the meshes merge, which I could at least understand... Now..do you have any idea of what is happening or how to overcome this? Other than trying to build new meshes... Thanks! Antonio |

Hi Antonio,
Have you solved this issue of non orthogonal faces? I observe the same in my cases. Regards, Eloïse |

No. I had to build the mesh from scratch.
