Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to generate different physical patches on one face? For example an inlet in the top and a wall in the bottom. Hope it's just me that doesn't know how to do it, cos it's a little hard work to generate a lot of blocks. Regards, Lasse |

How about using patchTool to collect faces you want and create the patches?

Hi again,
I've spent most of the day playing with patchTool, but when I came back from lunch it would not start. It has no problem in opening the preprocess and PatchToool.PatchTool windows, but when I say connect, the terminal gives me this errormessage: Reading name service reference from '/home/lasb/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4/.OpenFOAM-1.4/apps/FoamX/ns2.ref'. Connecting to name service. Default name service could not be contacted. PatchToolServer object could not be contacted. Which I don't understand. I must have done something I'm not aware of. Do you have any ideas what that could be? Regards, Lasse |

I'm pretty sure it's my /ns2.ref file. It looks like this:
IOR:010000002b00000049444c3a6f6d672e6f72672f436f7. .. Do you know what it supposed to look like? Lasse |
