Hi Folks,
I'm looking for some help regarding a couple of error messages i've been getting when I try and open the results of the snappyMultiRegionHeater in Paraview and another piece of software (Friendship Framework, which you can use as a gui for openfoam) that uses an Openfoam viewer based on Paraview. When ever I open the main .openfoam file (in this case computation.openfoam) and try an display timestep other than zero in paraview I get the following message: Warning: In /home/opencfd/OpenFOAM/ParaView-4.1.0/ParaViewCore/ServerManager/Rendering/vtkSMPVRepresentationProxy.cxx, line 279 vtkSMPVRepresentationProxy (0x3859f80): Could not determine array range. I don't get the message when I load (or post process) any of the region results files i.e. computation{heater}.openfoam. Now, when I try and load any of the results files in Friendship Framework I get the following error message for every object including T: ERROR: In /home/qt/4.8.5/VTK/IO/Geometry/vtkOpenFOAMReader.cxx, line 6875 vtkOpenFOAMReaderPrivate (0x295b490): boundaryField maxY not found in object T at time = 0 A similar errors occurs when I try to load the *.openfoam file for the turbineSitting tutorial which leads me to believe it's related to STL files, or snappyHexMesh (or both). Is there a way to correct or avoid these errors? They occur with both openfoam 2.3 and 2.2.2 as well as they're respective paraview versions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi,
Did you manage to solve this issue ? I am actually struggling with the very same problem at the moment and I don't have any clue on how to solve it. Both versions of OF 2.3 and 2.2.0 and their respective 3.12 and 4.1 versions of Paraview give me this error message, as stated by the author. If anyone has a solution it would be extremely appreciated ! Faab |
