Hello experts

I have the following paraview problem:

When I start paraview from the terminal I get a ton of these warnings both in the Output Messages window and in the terminal:

I can still use paraview but it keeps flooding the terminal with these warnings.

It happens for instance with ParaView 5.6.0 that comes with OpenFOAM-v1812 (compiled from the source code on my ubuntu 18.04 machine) and with ParaView 5.5.2 from OpenFOAM-6.

The paraview installations used to work fine.

The problem just suddenly appeared - might have been in relation to a system update or me messing with the nvidia drivers (using nvidia-390 but also tried others with no luck).

Any help would be much appreciated.
