Hello, everyone,
I am a beginner to OpenFoam. I wonder if I can use paraview to output the value along a certain line and on a certain plane, instead of only displaying the data on the paraview interface. And I want to know the position vector of the cell corresponding to the output value. If paraview can not resolve this, is there any other software solving this problem? Thank you in advance! |

You can get value over a line or a plane using the sample utility. Check the User guide and tutorials where a sampleDict file is included. The location of a cell can be written into the time directory with the writeCellCentres utility. These files can be also used by the sample utility.
