coarse faces exceed viewFactorDict Settings -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

SharpS New Member Join Date: Feb 2020 Posts: 5 Rep Power: 6	Hey, I have a problem with faceAgglomerate and viewFactorsGen. The amount of coarseFaces is bigger than the amount adjusted in the viewFactorsDict. I have four boundarys one of them is spherical. I set nFacesInCoarsestLevel on every boundary to 2000 and featureAngle to 1. In the end the viewFactorCalculation puts out the message that the total number of coarse faces is 35404... How ist that possible? I thought that my entries in the viewFactorDict limit the number of coarseFaces? Best wishes Nik
