Hello,
I want to set temperature to a droplet after some evolution of the interface. My alpha field has been changed from spherical shape (droplet) to an elliptical shape after sometimes and now its time to set a temperature to my droplet. how can I do that without overwriting alpha. Basically I want to take the same alpha field that has been evolved and assign a temperature field to that alpha field. I know I can set them(alpha and temperature) from the beginning but I am looking for a solution to set the temperature from mid way. Does anybody know how to do that? Thanks, Smran |

Hi smraniaki,
You can use of funkySetField in swak4foam package. in funkySetField you can define that under specific conditions,a specific field apply to the domain.this condition can be time or another filed or ... . |

Hello Hesam,
Thank you for your advice. I've never used the funkysetfield package. can yo elaborate more or do you have a script sample of funky package that does what I want or similar to that so I get to the point quickly? Thank you, Smran |

Were you ever able to get funkysetfields to modify the field properties mid simulation?
