Hello,

I'm wondering, if the coupledMatrix stuff in OF1.6-ext is the right thing for the following case: I have two scalar equations for two quantities on the same grid, where both variables appear in both equations.

So far I only remember cases where e.g. the temperature in two domains was coupled. Are there further examples?

Regards, Hannes

Hi,

You can search by the keyword "blockCoupledScalarTransportFoam"
to find the information. I think the following thread is a good starting point:

Hope that helps,
Fumiya

Yes, there are further examples. Please have a look at Klas Jareteg slides, report, code and tutorials for 'Block-coupled calculations in OpenFOAM'. You can find them in http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kurser/OS_CFD/

Best, Patricio

That report looks enlighting on the first sight. I'll dig into it. Thanks for the hint!
