juhuettn is on a distinguished road
Dear all,

as part of a university project, I am trying to implement a new wall roughness model code into OpenFOAM. In order to do this it would be very helpful to know on what model (from literature) the “nutkRoughWallFunction” is based on first, as I want to use this model as a starting point. I know that it is a two-equation based model using a turbulent viscosity dependent on the k+ value. But I cannot find out from the codes what roughness model is the basis for it.

I am very thankful for all information.

Kind regards, Julian.
