Hi there Foamers,
I was wondering if it is already available in openFOAM a class which deals with tensor fields of rank higher than 2. As a matter of fact, I've found this old thread here in the forum. Since it is from 2009 I would like to know if openFOAM (foam extend) has finally implemented the TensorThirdField and SymmTensorThirdField classes mentioned in the Programmer's guide P-27 and P-33. Just contextualizing what I'm working with I would like to take the gradient of the symmetric part of the velocity gradient. Well I would also like to take the triple product of the velocity field, e.g. something like U*U*U. Many thanks in advance, F. Soares |
