Hi All,
I'm setting up a small (<30 nodes) cluster at the moment using several PCs and a Gb Ethernet switch. I almost (I hope) have the thing working but am unsure about one thing. I have compiled and set up OpenFOAM 2.0.x on the head node under /opt/OpenFOAM. I have shared /home across all nodes using NFS and enabled passwordless SSH. What I would like to know is whether I need /opt/OpenFOAM to be shared via NFS also or is it sufficient to have the installation only accessed by the head node. I'm a bit unsure about how OpenFOAM/openMPI does things. Cheers, D. |
