Openfoam Vortex and Whirlpool simulation -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

qolt45 New Member noname Join Date: Sep 2013 Posts: 2 Rep Power: 0	Hi guys, I have a problem about whirlpool simulation in openfoam. Simply i made a cube and merge with cylinder in front. Then i tried to observe whirlpool around the cylinder inlet. But i don't know which model should i use to simulate or get nearby this whirlpool simulation. I tried LES model but i couldn't see anything. Now i'm going to try RAS model. Also i'm solving my system by using interFoam. Could anyone give me advice for this simulation ?
