Hello, I am interested in using CFD to model the interaction of oil spills with suspended sediments in river rapids - I have some experimental results from a small shaking apparatus that could be used for model verification.

I would like to be able to predict to what degree the suspended sediments will cling to oil droplets in real rapids and eventually sink the slick, as happens in the lab. I can't run a test in a real river, as you can imagine.

Is this within the capabilities of OF, and if so, can someone recommend which solver to use? The sediments are very small (clay size range).

Thank you.
