Hello everyone,
I started to use OpenFOAM this year. I am running 2D steady state simulations for my university thesis. My case consists of a submerged hydrofoil under the free surface. My objective is to quantify how much the free surface affects the forces (lift and drag) on the hydrofoil compared to a normal 2d flow without free surface. I have been trying to set up a case and running it with LTSInterFoam, which I read is the steady-state solver for multiphase flow. I would like to know if anyone could give me any insight into what Boundary Conditions to set in order to obtain results, because for now I have tried to modify the mesh, change boundary conditions multiple time and alter fvScheme and fvSolution without any success.
