I made the mesh with gmsh, but that is not the issue here. The issue is that I have set the boundary condition on the ACMI blockage patch as "rototingWallVelocity", which is possible apparently, but doesn't work as intended according to wyldckat:

It would be good to have this documented in the OpenFOAM documentation, for future reference, instead of just in a post in this forum...
