Hi everybody,
i am currently trying to use the timeVaryingMappedFixedValue utility on OF231, and i have a problem.
This utility needs a file called 'points' which contains only the points related to the interface in which the boundary conditions are applied.
But i don't know how to obtain this file. In fact the 'points' file i have created, in the polymesh directory, contains all the points of the model and i don't know how to limit this file to the interesting points.
Does anyone know how i have to do ?
Laurent

Edit : Maybe with the use of 'sample' ?

I have worked on this subject and i think the utility i need is topoSet, but i don't know how to obtain the points coordinates with it.
I only succeed to obtain the numbers of the points...

I used timeVaryingMappedFixedValue in combination with the sample tool. First, I extract the desired field and point data from a case using sample and thentimeVaryingMappedFixedValue in conjunction with this boundary condition to map the data.
