Hi hope someone can help me
I have created a simple case to test combustion and LES,

the domain is a rectangular area , in the first third and in the middle(vertically) there is a cylinder (the usual case), and top and bottom I set wall, the cyl is also wall. The left is a velocity inlet and the right is inletOutlet type ,

I am using the Xoodles solver and the case is similar in all aspects to pitzDaily example case

I have created the grid in Gambit and export into Fluent, the mesh is for 2d example , so the mesh have only one cel in the z direction as in the pitzDaily example case, Apparently I was able to import correctly the grid and I set all values using as a model the pitzDaily example case

i got the following error in the log.Xoodles file:
This mesh contains patches of type empty but is not 1D or 2D by virtue of the fact that the number of faces of this empty patch is not divisible by the number of cells.

well I assume, although the mesh is 2D with only 1 cell in the z direction, Open Foam believes is 3d , how can I correct this

I visualize it and I see exactly what I want, my grid with one single cell in Z direction (is the depth of this single cell important in 2d cases? for example in pitzDaily is 0.1 )

second I try to run the case using the script Allrun in Xoodles, I only commented out the line that says

"runApplication blockMesh $case"

thanks in advance
