Dear all,

Here, I tried to run the icoFoam case by set some different block and wall with the default example. But I saw some strange message when I run it. So anybody can help me? (especially the "nan")?

Hi.
There are many things that can go wrong.
You have to play with it until you get it.

Try reducing time step. You have 0.0005 which may be too large. try 0.0001 or 0.0000001 or anywhere in between.

Is the value of nu correct in transportProperties?

If the run still diverges, something is wrong with your boundary conditions.

nan = not a number (too huge number)

take Charles's suggestions.
first check your transportProperties and boundary conditions.

Thanks for your help. You are right. I have tried to reduce the time step though it is too slow to compute.

Here, I tried nu as the field in createFields file. And I also set the air as 1.45e-5 and building as 1.45e+50. But it is still problem as above. So could you please give more details.
