SOLVED.

build the application with wmake.
open the file gen6DoF.C and set your case.
run it with gen6DoF. it will create a 6DoF.dat

this is if you want that your mesh move as input.

now the questions are:
- how can I set up the dynamicMeshDict in order to move just a part of the mesh and not all the control volume?
- if the movement of the mesh is one of the output datas, what kind of dynamicFvMesh is to be setted in dynamicMeshDict instead of SKA?

Hi,

I'm posting my query in the existing post because it is related to the same topic. I'm a beginner in OF and i couldn't get exact clarity for my doubt from other posts. I apologize if it is very well explained already.
Could you tell me the default axis of rotational oscillation in gen6DoF application? Is it the CofG (Center of gravity) which is the axis of rotations. What could be done if i wanted to change the axis of rotation of a tank? Thanking you.
