Hello Elias, I recently took both the foundation and advanced courses and I found them quite useful. I think it helps a lot if you at least have gone through the tutorials in their user guide (breaking of dam, cavity etc. ).
I am not a programmer and the little I know is in Fortran and Matlab. Both courses have very interesting topics on you can customise OpenFoam so it helps a lot if you know C++. Hope this helps Alberto |
