Hi all
I have created a high quality mesh around airfoil (2D quad mesh) with max non-orthogonality= 35 I have simulated it by fluent and openfoam and attached the drag coefficient. as it can be seen, when nNonOrthogonalCorrectors is set zero the drag cofficient is completely different by its value when nNonOrthogonalCorrectors is set to 1 I will be so thankful if you tell me which solution is more accurate ? Best Regards |

Hello,
It looks to me like if you time-averaged the solution from the nNonOrtho=1 you'd get a result similar to nNonOrtho=0. However, you may want to continue running this case, it looks like it hasn't converged. With a max non-orthogonality of 35, I'd say there is no need to use any explicit non-orthogonal correctors. Please see Hrv's comment. Take care, Travis |
