hi, all.

I am new to OpenFoam. I wanna know why gravitational acceleration "g" is in the form of (0 -9.81 0) instead of (0 0 -9.81).
Does this mean that all the position vectors are expressed as (i j k), where i, j, k represents the component in the x-, y- and z-direction?

Hi Novist,

The 'g' vector can be defined in any direction you wish - if your case requires gravity in the z direction then just change it to (0 0 -9.81). Positions vectors are defined as (x y z), as are all of the other vector quantities.
