Hi xiao,

Using smooth delta, I also get a very weired result.
I changed the delta back and improved my grid. The simulation doesn't blow up.
My case is axis-symmetric. So I use some wedges at the center before.
It turns out that wedges significantly destroy the grid quality.

It concludes that dynSmagorinsky is sensitive to grid quality.

Hope this help you.
Regards,

roro
