The paraview 5.0 release notes announces a plugin for OSPray based ray traced rendering of visualization. I downloaded the 64 bit binary for paraview 5.0.1 and also installed the OSPray software (binary) from OSPray website. When I load the plugin, paraview doesn't complain. But when I try to start a OSPray visualization screen, paraview exits and I get the following error on my terminal:
"Illegal instruction (core dumped)"
Has anyone else been able to successfully install paraview with OSPray plugin? I tried compiling paraview from source as well. But the built paraview doesn't have the option to load OSPray plugin.
