Hi! Everybody
Can anyone help? I have my own code for 3D RANS with phase change. I do not have any good post processor. I presently do it with an old version of MATLAB. I have access to a licensed version (latest) of PHOENICS (with PHOTON of course). I want to format my output as per PHOTON requirement and plot vectors and contours ( I am amazed with the very powerful PHOTON plots). I am uanable to do so despite consulting the manuals. I believe it is the file format, etc.causing the problem. CHAM writes in the manual that it is possible. |

Hi,
if you are familar with fortran programming, you may write a few lines in a special ground files in order to: - load your you own output file - find a solution to write your results accuretely in the phoenics F array. Your q1 file must contain grid settings and variable storage command lines. ... It is certainly not the simplest way to do it! Kind Regards |

You need to convert your data into the same format as a PHOENICS PHI file.
The structure of the PHI file is described in the PHOENICS Support pages, in the FAQ section on data file structures. Note that this will only work if you have (or can mimic) a structured grid. |
