We will soon replace the existing shareware created from an old (15 years ago) version of PHOENICS with a new version which is virtually the cut-dwon current version.

Currently, PHOENICS Shareware represents PHOENICS as it existed some 10 or 15 years ago. It is supplied in 5 levels and operates as a DOS-only product. The 5 levels of PHOENICS Shareware are described at: http://www.simuserve.com/cfd-shop/shwrtop.htm from where they can be purchased as well, along with the associated user documentation.

It is planned to phase out these DOS-only versions soon, to replace them with a subset of the current release, PHOENICS-3.5, though no date for its release has yet been announced. Once finalised, it will be announced on CFD Online.
