Pressure correction in two-phases flow

Dear all, In single-phase flow, Phoenics will use the continuty equation to correct the pressure and velocity obtain from momentum equation. In one of Phoenics document, it writes that the phase continuity equation (for each phase) is used to compute the volume fraction of the corresponding phase.
The arising questions : 1. How does then Phoenics carry out the pressure correction if all continuity equations have been used for the computation of volume fraction ? 2. Where does Phoenics use the total fraction (e.g. for two-phases, r1 + r2 = 1). Looking forward to hearing from you all. Thank's in advance Regards, Noel |
