I did not use FoamX. I basically did blockMesh to generate the mesh, then, ran the case as is in the tutorials. What will I have to change to run this case? So many new stuffs in...

I ran the damBreak4phaseFine case in OpenFOAM-1.4 tutorial, ran stopped with an error. Error messages attached.
