Thanks a lot man for your reply. So just to clarify, lets say I have a rectangular domain that I want to separate into two regions. Then at the interface I need to have 2 faces, one for the left side...

I need your help! I created the mesh in gambit and after converting it to Foam I get the cellzones that i need. However when i run

splitMeshRegions -cellZones -overwrite
