The command to fix the mesh is simply "staticFvMesh" but yes, you need to stop and restart the solver to have it working, plus copy the pointDisplacement files over the latestTime...

I managed to make my case run but, after 1s, it seems that only sink is "working". It is sinking a lot at the beginning then bounces back up and looks like it will eventually stabilize...
