I just follow the general advice for the solver:...

I just follow the general advice for the solver: that 2nd order discretization yields more accurate results, while 1st order provides more "robust" convergence. So, 1st order for the initial n...

Well, I can try to decrease the URFs for those, but you can see from the diagram above that the convergence up to ~200 iterations is great and nothing wierd is going on. The reason for using 1st...

Hi, I didn't think to mention any of that...

Hi,

I didn't think to mention any of that because it was all proven to work on all the test cases and the single car mesh. But here it goes anyway:

Solver is Coupled (single precision, no room...

:/

Tried moving the second car by 1 mm rearward but no luck.. same thing happens at 230 iterations.

Will be moving the mesh in ICEM now and try renumbering the elements or something to see if...

Divergence while using interfaced duplicate meshes (translated)

Hello.

I am working on my masters thesis (calculating force coefficients depending on vehicle spacing) and I'm stuck. I validated the experiment by Vino/Watkins done on Ahmed body (30° slant)...
