OneEqEddy sgs model will be fine to bring good agreement for the LES-channel flow case at least. In your case, i think the grid is too coarse. I will suggest you to use finer grid resolution...

It completely depends on what kind of flow you are simulating. In my previous post, the results were obtained for open channel flow at higher Re_tau using wall-function approach....
