It seems to me that you are using 1.6v rather 1.6.xv. Maybe the constructor interface has been updated. it works for me under 1.6.x OpenFoam. download dkingsley...

I changed the following in foamToTecplot.C (1.5.x )so that it can run in 1.6.x.
// volPointInterpolation pInterp(mesh, pMesh);
volPointInterpolation pInterp(mesh);
