Hi, everyone.
I have encountered a problem when I was using post FW-H model. The .trn file generated from this model of a permeable surface looks to be fine, of which I have checked the "Time history: Density, Pressure, etc". However, when I executed the Post FW-H solver, it did not give me any error message. The resultant .csv file had nothing but the headline. The Output window reads: Receiver Post Point Receiver 1 has position -0.0877856 0.00175394 0.0085025Here are the info of my transient file (time history): 1. start time: 5.13e-5 s 2. end time: 1.93e-4 s 3.# of steps: 6591 The frequencies I'm looking for to resolve are rather high, which are mostly at ultrasonic region. I understand the work flow of Post FW-H solver. I have used it on a testing simulation and it worked out fine. I know due to the time difference for the source to reach the receiver can be different. Thus the resultant sound pressure at the receiver point is expected to have shorter time span. However, I tried it with a speed_of_sound = 340 * 1000 m/s and it still gave me an empty sound pressure record. (On the other hand, when I was playing with the testing simulation, I used a speed_of_sound = 3.4 m/s, and the solver threw me an error message "Not long enough the time span to calculate sound pressure at the receiver point 1".) I believe I have really tried my best on this. Have you encountered this problem that the sound pressure data of a receiver point is empty? If you have, how did you solve this? Thank you very much! I'm looking forward to you help. |
