So I've managed to setup a wind tunnel simulation with a spoiler in it. Successfully meshed and setup the physics according to various tutorials within the software documentation.
Set up a Force Report in the negative z axis to give me a downforce reading however I never seem to get a nice steady plot like when I run the Adjoint Wing tutorial provided with the software. So my question is should I be expecting some fluctuations within the first 100 or so iterations and then for it to settle, or should it constantly fluctuate in and out of positive and negative readings like a really messy sine wave? Any advice greatly appreciated. |
