I created extrusions at inlet and outlet and assigned them as separate regions. The simulation did not run
When I kept the extrusion at inlet and outlet in the same regions as the inlet and outlet boundaries were, it ran. The problem was of steady-state CHT in a fin-louver section, with air as fluid and aluminum as solid Can anyone explain ? |

Good queston. I had issues using extruder on a CHT problem. Although, for me it would freeze the mesher (or at the very least turn a quick mesh operation into many, many hours... I just gave up on it).
This might be a question for your DSE. |
