Hello,

I need advice for polyhedral mesh in starccm+:

- Can anyone tell me why my prism layers doesn't reach the corner ?
(cf. Picture 1)

- How I can improve the mesh within the volume ? the cell ratio for example ?
(cf Picture 2)

Thank you very for your help

Hello,

For the first issue, I would suggest reading the StarCCM+ help on prism layer meshing @ Meshing > Volume Meshers > Prism Layer Mesher > Prism Layer Model Expert Properties

For the second one, I would change the "Tet/Poly growth factor". And also, since volume mesh grows from the surface mesh, you could even change the surface mesh and see if you can get a better mesh.
