Can anyone explain to me why some of my field functions are not getting calculated properly? I have a field function, call it fz, that is of the form:
42571.79*$massflowReport*$massflowReport-95.09*$massflowReport The $massflowReport is a mass flow report (as you might have guessed). It returns a value of 0.0446 lbm/s. Which should return a value of fz equal to ~80.462. However, if I setup a maximum value report to get the value of fz (which is constant everywhere) it returns a value of 0.01016. I am at a loss to explain this. Any advice? |

Solved...
It turns out that field functions always use the SI value of whatever report you call. So what was happening is that the coefficients of the function I gave assumed that mass flow report was in lb/s but it was actually in kg/s. After re-deriving my coefficients in SI uints, the values are being calculated correctly. |
