Hi, first of all I just want to say I'm a complete newbie and this is my first encounter with CFD software for my uni project.
Basic details on my simulation/problem: I have a 20m long sootblower lance (essentially acting as a distributing manifold) with 12 nozzles equally spaced along the length leading up to a closed end. (see sootblower lance figure for an simplistic example). Now I've run my simulation (with a known mass flow rate at the input) and set all of my nozzles as pressure outputs. My results for pressure and velocity in the manifold seem accurate but I am just wondering if there is a way I can select my outlets (as a plane or face or something) and see the exact mass flow at each of them. I can go into far more detail or upload some images of my simulation if needed...thanks for any suggestions! |
