pashapatil67 is on a distinguished road
i doing non liniear analysis of elbow...i hav used bilinear model(rate independent)...i hav applied internal pressure of 20MPA and force of 1kN at tip of elbow..in solution control i have given 20 substeps,500 max steps and 5 min.substeps by considering large deflection ON
but solution is not converged.i have also tried with time increment in which i have used time step size as 1e-3 sec. and min time step as .001 sec and max time step as .1 sec....solution is not get converge....so can anyone suggest me what possibly time steps or load steps should i used for convergence of solution....please help me out from this.i have to find yeild dispacment at the tip of elbow
