Issue with RANS optimization of Onera M6 wing

I have been trying to do RANS shape optimization on Onera M6 wing
(hybrid coarse mesh) using SU2 v 2.0.5 for quite some time,
but have been unable to do so.
When I see the CD gradient of the RANS case after first design cycle,
it is observed that the gradients are very high.
The values of DV_VALUE_NEW in the config_MDC.cfg file seems to be
very large resulting in a very large mesh deformation and consequently
blowing up of the flow simulation
Can anyone tell how are the values of DV_VALUE_NEW for each control
points are calculated in config_MDC.cfg file for mesh deformation ?
Also, I want to tell that the gradient projection code, SU2_GPC, always
takes the step size of 0.001, whatever be the value given for DV_VALUE_NEW. Why is this happening ?
