Periodic boundary condition in SU2

Hello everyone,
I just added hybrid DDES and IDDES methods in SU2 4.1.0. And rencently i have been calibrating the Cdes constant with the DIT(Decaying Isotropic Turbulence) case. The computation domain contains 32*32*32 uniform cells,with periodic boundary conditions in all three directions to reflect the homogeneity of the flow. I used the following in the config file and ran SU2_MSH to generate the new mesh. MARKER_PERIODIC= ( x0,x1,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,31.0,0.0,0.0, y0,y1,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,31.0,0.0,z0,z1,0 .0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,31.0) However,i checked the file "periodic_halo.dat" and it seemed that something is wrong. Actually, it turned out that some points on the boundary is missing. Well, if i only use periodic boundary condition in one direction,i.e, MARKER_PERIODIC= ( x0,x1,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,0.0,31.0,0.0,0.0) the result seems right. I am confused about this. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks in advance. |
